“Flashing” is just the word for loading firmware — the board's built-in software — onto it. First-time setup of a brand-new Canary or an update later: same two clicks, right here in the browser. No Arduino, no PlatformIO, no terminal. It backs the board up by itself, installs a signed image, and checks every byte against the chip. Built so you can't pick the wrong firmware, and can't brick the board. It's a workbench too: run a health check or open a serial monitor without leaving the page.
