Every Canary starts here: plug a bare board in and it leaves with a name, a voice, and a job. “Flashing” is just the word for loading firmware — the board's built-in software — and the Nursery does it in two clicks, right in the browser. No Arduino, no PlatformIO, no terminal. It backs the board up by itself, installs a signed image, checks every byte against the chip, bakes in your WiFi and room dials, and then makes the newborn prove itself — live.
